Recently in Bandera County, a couple, Christopher Moore, 38, and Tara Flaherty, 46, was reported missing by friends. It was said that the pair attended a bar one night and never returned home.
Moore’s son, who had recently moved to the area became worried after returning home from school to discover that the couple wasn’t home. Shortly after that, their disappearance was reported to the authorities.
According to the Bandera County Sheriff’s office, a day after being reported missing, Christopher Moore and Tara Flaherty were discovered by a group of friends in a heavily wooded area outside of their Lakehills home after an apparent murder-suicide, which was later confirmed by an autopsy.
Deputies believe Christopher Moore, shot and killed his girlfriend, Tara Flaherty, then turned the gun on himself.
As reported to deputies, the couple was seen arguing at the bar the night before being discovered missing.
