Local organizations plan luncheon to educate public about child abuse and prevention

April is Child Abuse Awareness Month. A free luncheon event centered around the education of Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention and preventing and recognizing the sex trafficking of children will happen on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at First United Methodist Church.

This event is hosted by Kerr County Child Services Board, BCFS Health and Human Services- Kerrville, Hill Country CASA, Kerr County Victim Services, Hill Country Crisis Counsel, Kids’ Advocacy Place, K’Star, and Kerr County United Way.

The event will begin with a Meet and Greet at 11:30 AM followed by a Luncheon and speaker.

This child abuse education luncheon will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at 11:30 AM. The luncheon will take place at First United Methodist Church which is located at 321 Thompson Drive in Kerrville.
