Injured Tivy alumni needs community’s help after motorcycle accident

April 23, 2018

This past Saturday, April 21, 2018, local Tivy graduate William Stuckey had just gotten off of work when he had an accident on his motorcycle in Kerrville. Apparently, he was trying to downshift to slow down but had accelerated instead, causing him to slide across Hays street and hit a cement wall. He was airlifted to University Hospital in San Antonio and is currently in the ICU with extensive injuries.

The family of William Stuckey is asking the community for help to raise money to contribute to his medical bills and other expenses while they are going through this tough time. A GoFundMe page has been set up for donations. William’s family would like to thank those who have donated and shown their support and hope to raise the remaining funds needed for him.

William James Stuckey was a rambunctious and active child and played sports from an early age. He played 2 years of football at Peterson Middle School. William was a quarterback one year and a running back the next. At Tivy High School he played several positions on the football team all four years, mainly wide receiver and running back. He became known as “Skat Cat” over the announcements during the games. During his senior year, he helped the Antler team make it to the playoffs, playing Cedar Park. Now 23 years old, he is married and has 2 sons and a daughter.
