Buck Wild Animal Rescue and Wildlife Rehab is looking for immediate donations

April 25, 2018

Buck Wild Animal Rescue and Wildlife Rehab, located in Ingram, is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating surrendered or unwanted pets, as well as hurt, sick or orphaned wildlife.

Buck Wild provides their rescues with several nourishing meals each day and clean and natural habitats. The best vet care is also given to their animals. The group of people behind Buck Wild Animal Rescue often work 16-20 hour days to provide the animals in their care with everything they need for complete care.

They care for over 500 animals such as raccoons, opossums, foxes, pigs, birds, bunnies, goats, turtles and tortoises. Each animal has different needs.

Buck Wild donates money towards their animals’ care from their own pockets but also runs on and relies on public charitable donations. Caring for their over 500 animals can really add up financially. A fawn can cost approximately $140 a week to care for. Donations they receive go towards formula, food, medications, and the general well-being of each animal. Currently, Buck Wild is in dire need of donations such as money and supplies.

If you would like to become a “Rescue Angel” for Buck Wild Animal Rescue and Wildlife Rehabilitation, there are a few ways to go about it. You can donate an item from their Amazon wish list or you can use their PayPal link to send them a monetary donation. Interested donors can also visit Double L Feed in Ingram and purchase a bag of feed or add a donation to Buck Wild’s account. Double L Feed will help make sure Buck Wild gets the donations made through their store.

Buck Wild would like to express a big “Thank you!” to current and future donors and sponsors for their support.
