KPD announces the promotion of Sergeant Ryan Cockrell

KPD made a proud announcement this week, their promotion of Sergeant Ryan Cockrell.

KPD Public Relations Officer Juan Trevizo had this to say about the promotion. “I do know that the promotion process is quite extensive.  You have to have a minimum of five (5) years of law enforcement experience and you must have an Intermediate Peace Officer License.  The candidates take a test that’s a few hours long and they have an interview with different sergeants from other agencies.  The person with the highest test score and interview score gets promoted.”

Kerrville Breaking News is very grateful for all of our first responders, and we congratulate Sergeant Cockrell on his promotion!
