The fifth annual Kerrville Festival of the Arts is coming up on Memorial Day weekend. This event will have artists from all around the region demonstrating their art.
The festival is free and open to the public and will take place at Kerrville’s Historic Downtown area. Visitors are invited to not only enjoy the fine art experience but to also visit the downtown restaurants and shops Kerrville has to offer.
From antiques, collectibles, rare and collectible books and home decor to fine clothing, all of this and more are available at the many shops in downtown Kerrville.
The Kerrville Festival of the Arts will take place on May 26 from 10 AM to 6 PM and May 27 from 10 AM to 5 PM.
The city also would like to inform the residents that a portion of Earl Garrett Street between Highway 27 and Water Street, and a portion of Water Street between Highway 16 and Washington, will close beginning Friday, May 25 at approximately 6 AM and will remain closed through the evening of Sunday, May 27.
A portion of Water Street between Highway 16 and Cartewheels Catering will remain open until 2 PM on Friday, May 25 to provide access to Peterson Plaza and the south parking lot.
Please note, however, that all vehicles need to be removed from Water Street and the south parking lot in Peterson Plaza no later than 2 PM Friday.
The streets will be closed to all through traffic. Please plan to use alternate routes during this time.
