The Olympic Pool will open for Memorial Day weekend, announces summer hours

As stated by the City of Kerrville, The Olympic pool will be open on Memorial Day Weekend to celebrate their “Back to Summer Pool Party.” The pool will be open Saturday, May 26 through Monday, May 28 from 12 PM until 6 PM.


The Olympic pool encourages guests to come dressed in Hawaiian clothing to get in free.

KISD is still in session so the pool hours will be adjusted next week. The pool will be open in the afternoon from 4 PM- 8 PM on Tuesday, May 29 through Friday, June 1.

Normal pool hours will resume beginning on June 2 until August 17. The normal hours are Tuesday through Sunday from 12 PM until 6 PM.

The admission price for the Olympic Pool is $1 per person and is payable by cash or check.

The Olympic Pool is located in Singing Wind Park, at 601 Olympic Drive.

Picnic areas and the pavilion are available to rent for the day.

Community members also have the option to rent the pool on the weekends for their next private pool party. Private rentals are available on Saturday mornings from 10 AM to 12 PM, Saturday evenings from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, and Sunday evenings from 6:30 PM- 8:30 PM.

The rental fee for a private party, including lifeguards, is $200 and reservations can be made at the Kerrville-Schreiner Park’s office which is located at 2385 Bandera Hwy in Kerrville.

The Olympic pool also offers group, semi-private, or private swim lessons.
