Driver is arraigned after crashing into Bandera Marshal’s office

As reported by the Bandera Marshal’s Office yesterday morning, a driver by the name of Kevin Shannon, crashed into a vehicle stopped in traffic on Main Street in Bandera then into the Marshal’s office. He was arraigned at the Bandera County Jail.

Bandera Deputy Marshal William Smith took Kevin Shannon into custody after the major crash on Tuesday morning. There were no reported injuries.

“Deputy Smith became suspicious due to some indicators of drug usage he observed while talking with Shannon. Later he observed Shannon attempt to conceal something down the front of his pants. Deputy Smith took Shannon into custody and retrieved a substantial quantity of methamphetamine from his person. More drugs were recovered from Shannon’s vehicle,” said the Bandera Marshal’s office.

According to the Marshal’s office, Kevin Shannon is charged with the following:

Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 4Grams<200Grams (Methamphetamine) 2nd Degree Felony
Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 3 <28Grams, Class A Misdemeanor
Possession of a Dangerous Drug, Class A Misdemeanor
Possession of Marijuana 2oz<4oz, Class A Misdemeanor
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Class C Misdemeanor
