Opinion: Pizza delivery driver tipping etiquette

The views expressed in this article are not necessarily the views of Hill Country Breaking News. The following is an editorial piece, sent in by a Hill Country Breaking News reader.

I would like to write an editorial on proper tipping etiquette. Most people believe that as pizza delivery personnel we make minimum wage, however that is not the case. We only make $4.15. The delivery fee is not our tip. We get paid thirty cents a mile and the rest of lines corporates pocket. Also we pay our own gas and with the climbing prices sometimes I am paying my employer to work.
