Police pursuit ends peacefully on Hunt Street


KPD and Kerr County Sheriff Officers were in pursuit of a vehicle, just after 7pm tonight that ended peacefully just off of Hunt Street and Clara Street in Kerrville.


Witnesses on the scene said that police had been looking for a man named Gabriel on that street, then he saw a pursuit end right in front of him, with KPD surrounding a vehicle with their guns drawn.

The suspect is believed to be Gabriel Aleman, who resides on Hunt Street. According to Kerr County Jail Records, he is in the Kerr County Jail tonight on three charges:

  • Violation of Parole – Assault Fam/House Mem Impede Breath/Circulat
  • Evading Arrest Det/Veh
  • Possession of Marijuana <2oz

He was convicted of Felony Assault Fam/House Mem Impede Breath/Circulat in 2015 according to Kerr County Court Records.
