Her sister describes Marisa and her accident, “Marisa has always had a special place in her heart for caregiving. She has been a Certified Nurses Assistant for well over 5 years. She has always provided for her family alongside her husband, Fernando, who works in Masonry labor. She was at University Hospital for about a month and rehab facility for two weeks. She is now at home but unable to walk for at least another 6 weeks, if that.”

The garage sale is set to take place at 901 Bulwer in Kerrville, on the corner of Bulwer and Washington. To place a meal order, call 830-377-9997 or come by the benefit sale. The family is grateful for any donations given to them.
