The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office is still searching for two suspects connected to the June 19, 2018 mailbox thefts in Cordillera Ranch.
After posting the security video online of the theft, officers were able to obtain the suspect’s identities. The two subjects, who are still at large, are Valeska Shilling, a 30-year-old female out of Boerne, and Rudy Shilling, a 31-year-old male out of Boerne.
Yesterday, on the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office Facebook, they stated, “On June 26, 2018, Kendall County Investigators obtained arrest warrants on these two subjects for Theft $100-$750. Valeska Shilling warrant is a Felony due to previous convictions. While attempting to serve these warrants at their residence in Boerne, officers located methamphetamine in plain sight. A search warrant was obtained and more narcotics were located. We are in the process of getting Felony arrest warrants for the drugs as well. While searching the residence numerous amazon boxes and mail packaging was laying around that belonged to other addresses in the county. Another search warrant was obtained and during this search 50 to 60 items were recovered that appeared to have been stolen. At least 10 of the boxes had name and addresses, we are in the process of contacting these people to see if they can identify their property.”
KCSO says that the packages found appeared to have been stolen from the Boerne, Bergheim, and Cordillera area and they are advising residents to contact Kendall County Criminal Investigations Division if you have had any packages stolen from this area.
