Workplace embezzling charges filed against two local women employed at Escondida Ranch

Two employees from Escondida Resort in Kerr County were arrested on Friday, June 29. According to the Kerr County Sheriff’s Office, Dawn Renae Bostick, 42, and Pamela Lynn Nelson, 54, are currently under investigation after being accused of embezzling.

Over $90,000 is said to have been stolen by the pair over a three year period.

Bostick was being held in Gillespie County and was issued a bond of $15,000. Nelson was being held in Kerr County with a bond of $15,000. Both of their bonds have been posted.

The Escondida Resort, where both suspects worked and allegedly embezzled from, is owned by Bob Phillips, the host of Texas Country Reporter.
