Kerrville’s Robert Earl Keen’s Fourth on the River event is coming up on Wednesday, July 4 to celebrate America’s Independence Day. Set to happen at Louise Hays Park, vendors are opening at 2 PM and the concerts will begin at 5 PM which will include headliner Robert Earl Keen. What is said to be “the largest fireworks display in the Hill Country” is set to start at approximately 9:30 PM.
The City of Kerrville is informing the community that Louise Hays Park will be closed to vehicular traffic all day on July 4, except for legally marked, plates/tags, handicapped vehicles. Free covered parking will be available at the downtown parking garage on the corner of Main Street and Sidney Baker.
“Please remember that fireworks are not allowed within the city limits of Kerrville. Also, there is no glass allowed in the park, no outside alcoholic beverages allowed in the concert area, and smoking (including vaping and e-cigarettes) is prohibited in all city parks,” says the City of Kerrville in their recent information release.
The July 4 band lineup is as follows:
• 5 p.m. – Willow City
• 6 p.m. – Robyn Ludwyck
• 7 p.m. – Bruce Robison
• 8 p.m. – Robert Earl Keen (headliner)
