Family mourns loss of motorcyclist, Joshua McLaughlin, killed on July 4th, GoFundMe set up

Only July 4, 2018, Joshua David-Lee McLaughlin was involved in a deadly crash when he was struck by a vehicle attempting to turn onto Texas Hwy 27 in KerrvilleJoshua McLaughlin was a 34 years old husband and father of two sons from Ingram.

McLaughlin’s family describes him as having an outgoing personality. He loved his kids and his wife of four years very much. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, barbequing, hunting and fishing. Joshua worked in lawn care and was buying his own lawn care business.

Joshua’s mother-in-law says, “He will be severely missed. Parents shouldn’t have to bury their children and young children shouldn’t have to bury their fathers.”

With the sudden loss of her husband, friend, and the father and provider of her children, McLaughlin’s wife is shocked by his sudden loss. Friends of the McLaughlins have set up a GoFundMe campaign to help offset the financial loss the family will soon be experiencing.

The GoFundMe campaign states, “Anything you can do to ease the pain, stress, and turmoil that this family is suffering is beyond appreciated at this time.”
