Bandera County reports high water on area low water crossings

According to a report from 1 PM today, from the Bandera County Emergency Management, due to the amount of rain received, State Highway 16 N, approximately 1 mile before Medina, Smith Hollow, had three inches of water over the road.


They also announced that Bottlesprings Road, the low water crossing behind Flying L Ranch Resort has about a foot of water over the road.

The low water crossing at Hill Country State Natural Area on Bandera Creek Road, located in the park, has also seen the effects of today’s rain.

Please be careful when traveling around the area. You can expect that all Hill Country roads will be wet from today’s rainfall.
