Texas authorities currently searching for fugitive convicted of five counts of indecency with a child

A search by Texas authorities is currently underway for Jerry Don Seib, 53. The Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles have issued a blue warrant for his arrest. He is considered a fugitive and is said to have escaped from a halfway house in Houston.

Authorities describe Seib as a white male, about 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing about 200 pounds. He is bald with blue eyes and bares a scar on his left eyebrow and a tattoo on his right ankle.

Seib is said to have violent tendencies and a history of narcotics use.

According to authorities, Seib is considered a high-risk sex offender convicted of five counts of indecency with a child in Kerr County.

It is unknown by the Kerrville Police Department if Seib has returned to Kerrville but they are urging residents to be aware of the search.
