20-year-old arrested after causing bodily injuries to 6-month-old child

According to a press release from the Kerr County Sheriff’s Office, they responded to San Antonio’s University Hospital on July 28 to investigate a report of 20-year-old Joseph Bayliss causing bodily injury to a 6-month-old child.

Upon investigating, Bayliss confessed to becoming angry because the child would not stop screaming and then he struck her in the face with his fist causing injuries to her face and skull.

As stated by the Kerr County Sheriff’s Office, Bayliss was arrested and charged with injury to a child and is being held in Kerr County Jail on bonds totaling $35,000.
