Burn ban lifted for several counties, and parts of Kerr County

According to Kerr County’s website, Kerr County lifted the burn ban on Precinct 2 on July 5. As of July 9 at 7 PM, the burn ban on Precinct 1 and 3 was lifted as well. Precinct 4 is still under a burn ban until further notice from the county. For more information about the Kerr County burn ban, call the commissioners¬†830-792-2215.

Kendall County also lifted their burn ban on July 9. The county said that they will reevaluate the status of the burn ban by the end of the week to determine if it needs to be reissued. Residents intending to burn this week are advised to call dispatch at 830-249-8645 before burning to double check the burn ban status and to notify county officials of your plan to burn.

Gillespie County’s burn ban is still on according to their website. The Texas Forestry Service shows the burn ban off for Medina, Bandera, Real and Uvalde counties, as of July 9th, 2018.
