City officially adopts Kerrville 2050 Comprehensive Plan

On June 26, 2018, the City of Kerrville held their final meeting to discuss the Kerrville 2050 Comprehensive Plan, during which time they officially adopted the plan. Meetings and discussions about the Kerrville 2050 Plan, involving the community, the Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee, and the Planning and Zoning Commission, began in August of 2017.

Residents are encouraged to read the Kerrville 2050 Comprehensive Plan available on the Kerrville 2050 website.

The Kerrville 2050 plan, as described on the recent announcement of the official adoption, “addresses a range of planning topics, including land use, economic development, housing, parks, public services, and other issues and includes a detailed implementation strategy. It focuses on 11 Strategic Catalyst Areas as the most likely places for future investment and reinvestment.”
