UPDATE: It has been reported by the Uvalde Police Department that the murder suspect was apprehended in Uvalde.
With the help of the Uvalde Police S.W.A.T, the Uvalde County Sheriff’s Offce, the Texas Rangers Office, and the Frio County Sheriff’s Office, the murder suspect is now in police custody.
“Thank you to all our loyal followers and residents for providing tips and information on the wanted fugitive,” says the Uvalde Police Department on a Facebook post.
ORIGINAL STORY: The Uvalde Police Department is searching for a wanted murder suspect by the name of Mary Jane Roman, 53. The police are asking the public to please contact them if they see Roman or know her whereabouts. She is considered, by Uvalde PD, to be armed and dangerous.
Mary Jane Roman is wanted in Frio County for First Degree Murder and has an active full extradition warrant from Frio County. She is believed to be in the Uvalde area.
The public is asked to not approach the wanted murder suspect and to call 9-1-1 immediately. Please contact the communications center at 830-278-9147 if you might have helpful information that could lead to her arrest. Information will remain anonymous.
