A theft report has been filed with the Kerr County Sheriff’s Office regarding the bench that was taken from the graveside of Jessica Brown. The bench served as a place for her family and her friends to visit Jessica. It was placed there a year after she was laid to rest, on her birthday.

Jessica Brown, 32, passed away on June 9, 2016, after she was shot in Travis County by an unidentified murderer.

To the family’s understanding, there have been many other items taken from different grave sites in the area. This and the fact that her murderer hasn’t been caught yet has caused them to feel angry and upset.

Every year, the family visits her resting place to release balloons on the 9th of June in celebration and remembrance of her life and many sit on the bench to feel closer to her.

If you have seen this unmistakable red bench anywhere or know who might have it, please contact the Kerr County Sheriff’s Office at 830-896-1133.
