Women’s Chamber hosts movie themed night, tickets now available

The Kerr County Women’s Chamber is hosting a “Movie Escape” event on Saturday, September 15 at the Schreiner University CCAC, Ballrooms. The movie event begins at 6 PM and runs until 10 PM. The KCWC Movie escape is described as an event that will have movies, dinner, a cash bar, dancing, over 30 silent auction items, a raffle, and a live auction. Proceeds will go to The Women Helping Women Scholarship Fund.

Each ticket is $50 which includes dinner and a dinner beverage and tickets are limited. The auctions, raffle, and drink tickets can be purchased with cash or a card and sponsorships are available.

“Gather your friends and family and join the Kerr County Woman’s Chamber for one of the best evenings of the entire year at the KWAC MOVIE ESCAPE,” says the organizations.

“The Women Helping Women Scholarship has been established to assist adult Kerr County women with a sincere need for financial assistance and for whom the opportunity for higher level education classes will lead toward economic independence.”

Schreiner University CCAC, Ballrooms, where the Movie Escape event will be located, can be found at 2100 Memorial Blvd in Kerrville.
