Suspicious activity call leads to recovery of stolen truck, drug bust

Bandera, TX – The “If you see something, say something” line has led to the recovery of a stolen truck after an alert citizen notified Deputy Smith of the Bandera Marshal’s Office of suspicious activity on Cypress Street in Bandera, near the Catholic Church.


As stated in a press release from the Bandera Marshal’s Office, “The caller stated that several subjects were running up and down the street. Upon his arrival, he discovered Robert Bess and Kody Weber (both 17 years of age) standing around a white truck. Both were in possession of Marijuana. Weber was also in possession of straw with Methamphetamine residue inside. Bess was found to have stolen the truck earlier in the evening.”

Bess and Weber were both transported to the Bandera County Jail. Both subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
