BOERNE, TX – The Road Warrior Foundation, an adventure ride for our cherished veterans, accompanied by hundreds of Spyder motorcycles, will be riding through the Texas Hill Country today and arriving in Boerne, TX at 4:30PM.
They departed San Jose, California on Saturday, October 13th, and have been riding towards Texas every day since, covering 2155 miles in 8 days time!
Today’s ride starts in Lubbock, with The Road Warrior Foundation getting on to I-10 in Junction during the early afternoon, then traveling eastbound on I-10 through Kerrville, Comfort, and then getting off on John’s Road in Boerne.
Hill Country Mile, a Facebook page that promotes downtown Boerne, states that Soda Pops – Patio Grill & Bar will be giving out American Flags to wave at the veterans as they ride into Boerne.
The mission of The Road Warrior Foundation, posted on their Facebook page says, “The mission of Project Road Warrior is providing wounded, ill, and injured US veterans memorable adventures that serve as one of the critical steps in their rehabilitative journey.”
