BANDERA, TX- After alerting the public to be on the lookout for two missing skeleton decorations that disappeared after Bandera’s Haunted Hayride on Halloween night, the Bandera Marshal’s Office has reported that the skeletons have been returned.
An update from Marshal W. Dietrich says, “A lady brought them in first thing [November 2], stated they were picked up by mistake instead of some decorations belonging to her. She left her name, phone number and address so I am going to give her the benefit of the doubt.”
Once the Marshal’s Office asked the community to look out for the decorations, a man informed them that he would like to donate two replacement skeletons. He had them shipped to Marshal Dietrich and it was confirmed that they were received.
A donation jar will be located at the Water Utility Clerk Desk in Bandera for those who wish to donate to help continue the Haunted Hayride event next year.
