Officer involved shooting leads to standoff at Amanda Hawkins’ listed address

KERRVILLE, Tx. (HCBN) — A man is in custody after police say he pointed a firearm at them, then was shot at by police. He then ran into his residence, leading to a short standoff at 232 Mack Hollimon Drive in Kerrville early Tuesday morning.

The call initiated at 5:59am, November 20th, when several residents reported hearing multiple gun shots, coming from a residence on Mack Hollimon, according to police.

That’s when police say that a man came out of the residence and aimed a firearm at officers.

“A Kerrville Police Officer discharged his weapon and the suspect retreated into the residence,” said a press release from Juan Trevizo of the Kerrville Police Department.

“After a short standoff, the suspect came out of the residence and surrendered to officers.”

“It was determined by officers that the suspect had discharged his firearm multiple times prior to police arrival.”

“No one was injured during the incident.”

The suspect was identified as thirty-four (34) year old Sean Osborne. Osborne was arrested for Aggravated Assault of a Public Servant and an outstanding warrant according to a KPD press release.

The warrant is out of Gillespie County and is for Bail Jumping and Fail to Appear according to court records.
