Two arrested after KCSO investigators discover firearms and illegal drugs

KERR COUNTY, Tx. (HCBN)- Two individuals were arrested and put behind bars today after a citizen called into the Kerr County Sheriff’s Office and reported that the two men were staying at a local motel and believed them to be in possession of firearms.

Investigators located the two men, Christopher Eli Hammer, 35, and Eric Randall Sweat, 33, traveling on Sidney Baker Street. Upon conducting a traffic stop, both subjects were found to be in possession of Methamphetamine and firearms.

According to the Kerr County Sheriff’s Office in a press release issued today, November 28, Hammer was charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance 4-200 Grams and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon.

Eric Randall Sweat was charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance 4-200 Grams and Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon.

KCSO adds that both subjects are currently being held in the Kerr County Jail pending magistration and bond setting.
