Truck with 40 foot flatbed trailer of hay stuck on Medina Mountain Saturday

Kerr County Sheriff Officers spent Saturday evening trying get Highway 16 clear over Medina mountain after a truck, trying to cross the mountain with a 40 foot trailer full of hay got stuck.

A towing company was finally able to get the trailer unwedged from the top of the hill.

This serves as a reminder that tractor trailers and long trailers should not attempt to cross Medina Mountain on Hwy 16 between Kerrville and Medina. Take an alternate route.
