Version 18.3.82 is rapidly depleting the battery of various equipment, although it is not clear if it happens with everyone or just a few.
To check if your phone has this problem, go to ‘Battery use’ and check if Google Play Services is the app that consumes the battery.
Google is already working to solve this fault as soon as possible, through the next update. But if you don’t want to wait, you can fix it for yourself.

The first thing is to make sure if your smartphone has this version. For that you have to go to the applications section of your computer, there look for Google Play Services, or to Spanish, Google Play Services.
Once there, go to ‘App details’ and there you can see which version you have. Remember that the one that presents problems is 18.3.82.
There are two ways to repair it, although you should know that they are not so recommended. The first option is to download the beta version of the application. You have to go to the subscription page and click on the ‘Become a tester’ button. There may be errors, blockages, and unexpected effects.

Then go to the applications menu and select the Google Play Services menu. Click on ‘Data usage’ and disable the ‘Background data’ option. The latter will prevent the app from updating itself to the latest version.
